Baby Registry w/ Target + Johnson & Johnson

This post has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #RegisteringForBaby #CollectiveBias When you’re expecting baby number one, everything is a little, well… Overwhelming? All of the baby advise, all of the option for baby gear… It’s terribly exciting and overcoming all at the same time. I for one am the kind of gal that believes you should do things your own way. I’m a go with your gut kind of person, so I feel like you’ve gotta do what you think is right and what you feel good about. After all, we’re all supposed to have that mama intuition, right? And I think that comes in all different shapes and sizes! Regardless of how we want to parent, we all need at least some gear for our little bundle of joy! Let’s talk baby registries. For today’s post, I’ve partnered with Target and Johnson & Johnson for a little baby looove. (Hover over the image above to shop these items!!) So, here’s the scoop— I’ve been nesting …

Giftable L’Occitane Advent Calendars (Yes please!)

Fa la la la la… Who’s ready for the holidays?! After Halloween, everything sort of just seems like a flurry, at least for me. Let the craziness begin! Thankfully, I have just the thing to help you get prepared 😉 Wondering what to get your mother-in-law for Christmas? Your skincare obsessed BFF? Well… Don’t fret! The L’Occitane advent calendars are here to save the day (again)! Here are a few of my favorites from each set: Luxury Advent Calendar Almond Delicious Hands. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING. I’ve raved about it before, I know, I know. But it’s just so good, I had to mention it again. It smells heavenly and it makes your hands as soft as a baby’s bum. I always keep one stocked in my purse! Roses et Reines Hand & Nail Cream. Gimme all the creams. I really love the scent of this product and again, it leaves you feeling silky smooth. My hands and nail beds get SO cracked in the winter, so it’s products like this that literally save me! …

Baby Girl’s Nursery Reveal

We are seriously so stoked for our little one to arrive. I can’t believe that I only have 12 more weeks… It’s insane! I’ve been nesting like crazy getting everything ready over here, but putting together her nursery has seriously been my favorite part. I LOVE decorating and I have to say her room just might be my fave. I went pretty neutral with feminine touches. It makes for really calm vibes. I feel like it’s sort of a modern meets bohemian feel… Most things you see pictured are still available and if not, I’ve linked super similar items! First off, my dream is to have a library and I really want my kids to have a love for reading. We have a living room downstairs that has a big bookshelf and I don’t call it the living room… I call it the library. I’m ridiculous, I know. But just let me pretend that I’m Belle from Beauty and the Beast! Sooo naturally I went out and bought a million books for our little lady’s …

L’Occitane + Rifle Paper Co. Fall Faves

L’Occitane has partnered with Rifle Paper Co. and it’s a beautiful thing. It’s basically the best of the best joining forces, so… Yeah. It’s pretty rad. Winter is coming (nooooo) and if you’re like me you’re trying to get prepped. What new boots do I need? Beanies? Scarves? And oh yeah, my skin! It can be quite the rough transition if you don’t have the right products. I for one am going to avoid my skin taking a beating this season! My hands and elbows tend to get dry and cracked during the winter, so I live by this stuff. The travel sizes are perfect for your purse and for holiday gifts (even stocking stuffers) for the upcoming holiday season. Plus, since L’Occitane has partnered with Rifle Paper Co. the packaging is cuter than ever! A few of my favorites from the L’Occitane + Rifle Paper Co. collection… I truly can’t say enough about the hand cream. My husband was skeptical but then I made him use it and he now understands my obsession, ha. …

Albion Maternity Looks

Oh the joys of being pregnant… It’s rough trying to find things that fit me right and if you are currently pregnant or have been before, you know my pain. It’s already a challenge to find things that fit your normal body just right, and then you add in a bump and it just goes downhill… Some mamas carry high, some carry low. Some have their babies situated more side to side and others seem to carry much farther outward. Wherever your baby sits, it can be a difficult balance to juggle how the heck to cover the thing once it’s time to get dressed in the morning. I’ve moved 90% of my clothes into another room because it’s depressing to look at a closet full of items that I can’t wear. Although it’s also depressing to look at an empty closet… Anyway, for this post I’ve partnered with Albion to show you a few items that you can wear before, during, and after your pregnancy (YES)! THESE JOGGERS. I’ll admit, I do own them …

3 NYFW Looks

I haven’t gotten around to posting all of the details on the three remaining NYFW looks that I was able to shoot, so here they are! Studded Sneaks Studded boots, studded bags, studded sneakers… I dig the studded trend. I scored these babies from J/Slides and I’m pretty stoked about it. These are my third pair of shoes from them and they don’t disappoint! The quality has always been fantastic, and as you know, I’m kind of a shoe snob… To start, they are super comfy! And I love the higher sole. Not quite a platform, but the shoe does have some height which I like. I’ve paired them here with this dusty pink top and this floral jacquard coat that I am absolutely obsessed with.    Duster Vest I’m a sucker for a duster vest… I just am! I wanna buy like 100 this season! I feel like they add a level of sophistication that somehow only they can accomplish. I don’t know if that really makes sense or not, but I just dig …

NYFW Shows + Velvet Maternity Look

Okay sooo I just wanted to highlight some of my fave shows from NYFW. You’ll definitely want to check out these brands! Let’s jump right in 😉 Galtiscopio I think that Galtiscopio will always have a special place in my heart because it was my very first NYFW show. And it was AWESOME. So much glitz and glam. The pieces were stunning. It was a super high energy show right off the bat and they even had entrainment! The pieces were stunning and I was super impressed. I’ll definitely want to attend the next Galtiscopio show! Katie Gallagher This wasn’t your traditional runway show. The models stood and sometimes rotated showing off the collection. It was a cool show, beautiful pieces. The only downside was that you were standing in a mob of people so it was kind of hard to see. Cindy Monteiro This designer was only 26 and freaking adorable. Her line was more of a resort line with a lot of light, natural colors and burlap. It reminded me of some sort …

How to go to NYFW

Okay, so how the heck do you get into NYFW? Well, that’s the million dollar question isn’t it! It’s actually a lot more simple than you’d expect. It’s a ton of prep work, don’t get me wrong, but it’s totally doable! So, the magical equation? Research. Who are you interested in seeing? Why? Take a look at the schedule and prioritize where you want to go. Find the designers that pique your interest. Bada bing, bada boom. Reach out. This is what is the most time consuming. You’ll need to do a lot of research to find the right contacts that will be able to get you into the shows that you want to see. For me, this took hours and hours of Googling. But it’s a necessary evil to get in! Once you have the appropriate contacts, email away! Be clear on what you’re offering them and make sure that you deliver! Plan, plan, plan. I admittedly started planning a little late this year, but everything worked out and I had an amazing time. …

Daily Look Review

Okay peeps. I’ve partnered with DailyLook for this post and I just want to give some mild disclaimers before I get into the nitty gritty 😉 This was the very first subscription based box that I’ve tried where a stylist compiles a few looks and sends them your way. I’ve always been a little intrigued, so I was actually really excited to try out Daily Look. My experience wasn’t quite what I had imaged… BUT I recognize that I am probably pickier than their average customer. I love fashion, I research fashion, and I realized even more that I actually really enjoy picking out my own clothes. So, keep that in mind. Here’s how it works: First, they have you fill out a profile of what you’d consider your style. You can link your Pinterest, you rate looks, you can provide links to your favorite fashion bloggers… It’s honestly kinda of long, but I thought it was cool. Seemed to me that they are really trying to be thorough which I appreciate. Then the stylist …

Fall Faves w/ Banana Republic

Fall is upon us! I used my seat heaters in my car for the first time over the weekend and I have to admit, it was kind of depressing… I’m okay with summer being over, but Utah doesn’t get much of a fall. It’s basically straight to winter for us which is SO SAD. Fall is my very favorite season. Maybe I need to move somewhere where it actually exists… Anyway, for this post I’ve teamed up with Banana Republic (yaaaay!) to bring you some amazing fall-must haves. It’s been a real struggle for me to find things that work with my growing belly. Most things make me feel like a giant blob, so yeah– #nothankyou. So, I decided to go for some of their fab accessories. The freaking most adorable fall accessories you’ve ever seen. K I’m really trying not to get too excited here… First, this gorgeous ascot scarf. Okay, like seriously gimme all of the ascot scarves. I love them. They are such a great throwback piece. So classy! This particular one …
