Say YES to clogs

Oh how I love me some leather clogs… Let me tell you why— First, they’re actually way comfy. I was kinda nervous, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised! It’s safe to say these babies from Seaside Soles will serve me well this spring. Second, they’re casual enough to wear on an everyday basis, but cool enough to wear on the weekend too. Woohoo! And third, well these Free People clogs bring the funk back into your life. So come on, join in! Partake in keeping the 70’s alive! It’s a flash from the past, but with a twist! I’ve paired them here with a light pink bandana and my cord pinafore dress to keep the retro vibes alive. I know I’ll be enjoying my clog-filled bohemian spring! Check out my other look with Seaside Soles here 🙂 Have a great rest of your week! xoxo, Karlee Shop: Clogs (exact)     Thanks to Seaside Soles for sponsoring this post. This one from Dagne & Dover has really great compartments inside which is seriously a luxury. All of their bags are really function, designed specifically for girls on the go. I love this one because of the fun geometric pattern on the lower half. It’s a nice special touch! As for this gray suede piece of heaven, it’s from ILY Couture– One of my favorite boutiques. They have really cute graphics all of the time. I own this pullover and these comfy joggers. I’d been eyeing this jacket for a while, so when I saw that ILY had it I knew I needed to get one for myself. I just love the silhouette. It’s such a better shape AND quality than any other suede jackets …

Neutrals are great for guest bedrooms because they’re naturally calming. Veer away from overwhelming colors as not to give your guests a headache. This doesn’t mean that you can’t have color, just use colors as accents, not your main source. Simple curtains and duvet covers are not only great solid pieces, but they’re generally less expensive than ornately detailed pieces.     2. Keep things cozy. Give your guest some blankets. Even if they don’t end up using them, as a guest it’s nice to feel like you have what you need and avoid any awkwardness in asking. Try a blanket basket. It’s cute annnd functional.     3. Try mixing a few different styles of decor. When you utilize more than one style, your guests are more likely to feel at home. When your guest room is too modern it can feel cold and uninviting. If it’s …
