5 Ways To Style A Dull Outfit For Summer

5-summer-style-tips-9

Plain Jane? No way. Ain’t nobody got time for that. I’ve compiled a list of 5 tips on how to style the heck out of a dull outfit this season.

-Add a belt. I’m obsessed with a western belt. The silver detail does it for me. But if you need a pattern for your look you can add a leopard belt or a pastel belt for a subtle pop of color.

-Style some sunnies. I’m really into round glasses. Trust me, you’ll be a fan of the retro vibe.

-Invest in some clogs. They are super trendy right now (I love it!). I swear everywhere I look I see a new version of a clog. They’re a summer must.

-Try an ascot scarf. Dubbed the summer scarf, its’ another very on trend accessory. I’d suggest snagging a few different colors so that you can have a variety of styling options. Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters have some good options at a reasonable price.

-Coordinate the color of your accessories with one or two items to offset. It helps to unify your look. I have black sunglasses, a black crossbody, black clogs, and a red scarf to add some pizazz. It’s fine to mix and match (sometimes) but I also love accessories that are all basically one color to really polish the look.

Let me know how it goes! I’d love to hear about your summer styling ideas!

I hope that you have an absolutely wonderful holiday weekend!

xoxo,

Karlee
