Looking out at something so big like the ocean makes you feel pretty teeny tiny. It’s amazing and a tad scary all at the same time. Looking at it, it makes sense why people used to believe that the Earth is flat. I can imagine a huge drop off waterfall at the edge just disappearing into space… But like I’ve said before, I have a wild imagination. I also find myself wondering about what kind of deep dark creatures lurk underneath the surface of the sea. Things that I’ll never see and for the most part, probably won’t ever know exist. It’s so fascinating to me!
I feel really lucky to have been able to stay where we did in Kauai. It was a tropical haven! We stayed in a big, beautiful house that has one of the most amazing views I’ve ever seen. I could have just sat there and stared for hours. I think that it’s important to have time to stop and clear your mind. To just get away and think you know? Although we didn’t get to do that much, when we did get to sit and relax, it was wonderful!
Now, about this tropical meets stripes swimsuit! I’d seen this swimsuit on other girls before and I’ve always loved it. I’ve honestly had my eye on it for a while. I will admit however, that I was a little nervous to wear it myself. It can be super difficult (especially for someone like me who is a little top heavy if you know what I mean) to find a swimsuit that I don’t pop out of. My problem when swimsuit shopping is that the top never fits quite right. But I am in LOVE with this top (and the bottom). It’s way more supportive than I imagined which I super appreciate. I’ve never once been disappointed with anything that I’ve ever received from Albion. Their quality is phenomenal and I love their designs. This is definitely a top pick for this season! I’ll have some other swimsuit picks for this summer for you in later posts!
