Almost 5 months of motherhood… Where does the time go?! Since January when little Jo was born, I’ve been taking mental notes on all of the things that she likes (and also the things that she doesn’t). So this post is really a compilation of what’s goin’ on in my brain finally written down!
She’ll be 5 months next week (tear) and it goes by so fast. I can’t even believe it! But I wanted to share with you our very fave baby products thus far. So, here we go…
SkipHop Play Mat Jo LOVES this play mat. We do tummy time on the mat every day and she loves to roll over and play with the hanging toys. She totally giggles at herself and thinks it’s hilarious. Definitely one of her favorite things!
SkipHop Activity Center Another goodie form SkipHop! I really like this one because there are 3 stages to meet your baby’s needs as they grow. You can move the toys wherever you want and the middle spins so your baby can turn to play with their desired toy. LOVE! Jo digs it too 😉
Nuna Leaf This is great for when your baby is itty bitty. I like that the swing is a more natural movement and the design fits into any space rather than sticking out like a sore thumb like so many others do. I’d also get the Wind attachment so that when you walk away the swinging continues.
Chicco Portable Bassinet This is what Jo actually currently sleeps in– It’s so great! You can fold it up and take it anywhere which is freaking amazing. Plus, it’s not super obnoxious looking!
Owlet Baby Monitor This is probably my very favorite product because it gives me peace of mind. I don’t think that I could sleep without it. Of course if you feel like something is wrong with your baby you should always follow those gut feelings, but knowing that the Owlet will notify me if her oxygen or heart rate are outside of the normal levels gives me so much peace at night. I can’t say enough about how happy I am that I got one!
Video Baby Monitor Okay, so I also have a video monitor. It just make me feel better to have one of these too. We’ve been pleasantly surprised with this one. The night vision is awesome and I carry the little screen with me while she takes her naps so that I can check on her if I need to. It also has two way sound!
Bumbo Love this! Jo started holding her head up pretty early and really wanted to sit. She can’t quite sit on her own yet, but the Bumbo has been great in helping her to learn. We use it every day!
Halo Sleep Sack These are a MUST. We have a bunch of them. I use them for her naps and at night. It’s a no-no to swaddle babies or to have babies sleep with blankets, so these are a perfect alternative. You can zip & velcro your baby right in nice & safe! It also helps your little one to avoid getting that falling reflex.
Noise Machine & Projector This has also been a life saver. When the noise machine goes on, she knows it’s time to sleep. We’ve used it every day since she’s come home from the hospital (we use the rain sound). It’s a staple in both our nap and nighttime routines.
Snuggle Me Organic Lounger Heaven sent. This thing is heaven sent I tell you! Jo is pretty small and I feel like the lounger has 100% helped her to feel safe when sleeping since she’s all nestled in. We still use this every day too!
Bottle Drying Rack This fo sho helps my kitchen not to look like a disaster. Sounds kinda random, I know, but I legit love it. I just keep it by the sink and as I clean her bottles they have a place to dry! It helps me stay a bit more organized!
I also absolutely love her Chicco carseat & stroller. If you want more info check out this post!
I hope this helps you other new mamas out there!
Until next time 😉
xoxo,
Karlee
