Four Denim Brands You Should Splurge On

So here’s the thing— I started investing in premium denim this year and it has been life changing! Okay, maybe life changing is a bit extreme, but it’s definitely been wardrobe changing.

A great pair of jeans goes a long way. I don’t want a rando pair that will overstretch and be out of style by the next season. You can do a lot with killer denim and they can totally make or break your outfit.

There are two things that I look for in a pair of jeans: Quality & fit. I don’t want to spend $100+ on jeans if I could find basically the same thing for $50. No one wants to overspend! And girl, I’m picky!

With that being said, here are my favorite denim brands to splurge on:

Agolde. My absolute favorite. Every time I wear a pair of Agolde jeans, even my Agolde shorts, I get questions about where they’re from. They fit me better than any other jeans and they are super comfortable. I have two pairs of Agolde jeans and one pair of shorts from them. Love, love, love. You can find Agolde jeans at Revolve or Shopbop.

Free People. The jeans photographed in this post are from Free People and I love them. Again, the fit is great and the denim is way soft! Something to also note about Free People jeans is that they tend to not be quite as expensive, yet they are great quality. I found the pair that I’m wearing on sale for under $65. I got them on Zappos, but you can also find Free People jeans at Shopbop and on the Free People website.

Madewell. The name says it all! My all time favorite denim overalls are from Madewell and I also have their button front skinnies. The quality and fit are AMAZING. You can easily shop their whole selection on the Madewell website, or you can find some of their styles in Nordstrom or on Shopbop.

7 For All Mankind. I have several pairs of 7FAM jeans and they are all great. You can tell that the brand puts a lot of effort into the fabrics that they use for their products. I have some black distressed skinnies from them and they’ve become a staple in my wardrobe! I posted this photo a while back with a pair that I found at Saks Off Fifth Avenue on discount. You can also shop them on the 7 For All Mankind website and Nordstrom Rack carries 7FAM for a discount too.

Levi’s has some really cute denim right now as well. You can find jeans that range from $50ish – $200ish depending on quality, fit, etc. I also really like Topshop although they definitely aren’t as premium. If you buy Topshop size way up. They run several sizes too small. I wear a 26 everywhere else, but I wear a 29 in Topshop.

If you know what brands to shop and where to spend your money with premium denim, you’ll never want to go back to your average pair of jeans!

There are for sure other brands that I like, but the ones listed above are definitely my favorite! I also wanted to say that it’s not like I only buy premium denim now. I totally still purchase your average pair of jeans every once in a while. BUT the quality of a nice, like really nice, pair of jeans is just unparalleled.

Let me know if you have any denim related questions! I hope that this post was helpful for you!

xoxo,

Karlee
