I’ve been really excited to share this room reveal with you all. Liiike, really excited. I’m a sucker for a room overhaul and for this reveal I did a revamp not once, but twice!
Yes! One room, two ways.
So here’s the thing— Working from home has become a reality for a lot of us these days. Because of this, I wanted to show how to transition a space to be functional in a few different ways. I decided on creating two different configurations that will work for both sitting/living areas and an office space combined.
Each was designed with products from Overstock. They continue to be a repeat go-to for finding pieces for our home. I honestly keep shopping at Overstock because I’m always able to find something that I like (they always have a good selection) and I can also count on them having pieces that are in my price range.
And like always, I’ve linked all of the pieces at the end of this post 🙂
So let’s get to it!
For the first way, I decided to style the room with a couch + coffee table along with the desk and office chair stationary against the wall. I love how the coffee table makes the room feel more functional and complete!
For the second way, I swapped the couch for two modern armchairs and decided to float the office chair and desk in the center of the room. Plus, I’m all about a pouf, so I decided to add two of them for additional seating or possible foot rests for the chairs.
Here are the links to all of the Overstock pieces:
- Office chair
- Sofa
- Coffee table
- Desk (This stain can’t be beat. It’s BEAUTIFUL)
- Rust rug (Maybe my favorite rug I’ve ever owned— And I’ve had a lot of rugs…)
- Olive rug
- Poufs (These would also look suuuper cute in front of a fire place)
- Mid-century chairs (For sure the best quality & comfiest chairs we’ve ever had. I LOVE them!)
- Throw pillows
- Baskets
I hope this post gives you some ideas on how you can transition your work space into an area that makes sense for your life! Which way is your favorite?
