Sorry about being MIA yesterday… I woke up feeling so dizzy and thought that I was going to pass out while feeding Jo. I decided to take it easy and I pretty much slept the whole day while Jono worked from home. Bleh. I hate feeling that way!
We arrived back home from Oregon on Tuesday and it was so nice to be home and sleep in our own beds you know? Don’t get me wrong, we had lots of fun in Oregon, but there’s just something about being in your own space!
We traveled there for my Grandma Jo’s (hint, hint that’s where little Jo gets her name) surprise birthday party. She turned 75– Whoop, whoop! It was actually pretty awesome because all of her siblings and children, grandchildren, etc. traveled to surprise her for her birthday. She was shocked!
To be honest, I’m still shocked that everyone was able to keep it a secret. We had about 70 people there and I was sure someone would accidentally spill the beans!
Anyway, we had a lot of fun spending time with friends and family. I miss Oregon. I miss the big, tall, green trees everywhere. It’s always nice to go back.
Plus, it was little Jo’s very first time on a plane and she did awesome! We took a night flight on the way there and she slept the whole time. Little angel! On the way back she slept a little and when she woke up she just hung out which was nice. We have a few more trips coming up, so I’ll keep you updated on any travel tricks! I’d keep a bottle on hand just in case (she ate on the flight home) but other than that we didn’t need anything.
So, about this look– I really like the paper bag trouser trend, so when I saw these jeans I just had to have them! They’re a little more casual than a trouser which is honestly more what I need. I love them!
