Attention to all of my tablescapers– I have some news for you! Walmart’s vintage chic tabletop collection is to die for! So freakin’ cute. They have such fun items to create the perfect layered tablescape, whatever the occasion. You’ll want to tablescape your heart out.
But first: Table-what? If you don’t know what tablescaping is, I promise you aren’t alone. I only learned the word a few years ago. It’s basically fancy for saying setting your table (but with style)!
Here are a few quick tips to make your tablescape one for the ages:
Decide on a theme. For this tablescape, I wanted to stick with a vintage, chic vibe from the items that I snagged from Walmart. I decided on shades of pink, blue, white, and gold.
Layer, then layer more. A great looking table has layers and depth. Things like napkins, plates, tablecloths, place mats, etc can help add great layers to your table!
Create a unique centerpiece. A beautiful centerpiece is the cherry on top of a beautiful tablescape. Drawing attention to a piece, or pieces, in the center of the table will help your table look more full and complete.
Let the seasons inspire you. Of course a harvest theme during Thanksgiving or a winter snow theme during Christmas are easy seasonal tablescape ideas, but don’t be afraid to really get into the current season and use your creativity to create something new.
