Now that August is coming to an end, I kind of can’t help but hang onto the last month or so of summer. As fun as it is decorating for fall & winter (and you better believe I will be going ALL OUT) I still want to keep the summer vibes in my home alive while the sun is still shining. Anybody feel me?

For this coastal space, I really wanted to focus on colors that you would see at the ocean so I went with different shades of blue and neutrals. I think it turned out really pretty!

Like in any coastal inspired room, the goal here was to create a calm, inviting space. Neutral colors definitely help accomplish that, but also not going too overboard with the theme helps preserve a peaceful feeling.
