I had a much needed ladies’ weekend in Vegas and it was amaaazing! I went with two of my besties and we had such fun! Having time with your girls is a must. I don’t do it often enough!
We stayed at the Venetian which was so nice! Our room was beautiful. We had quite a big bathroom, 2 queen beds and a living space with a couch that pulled out into a bed. We felt like queens!
The first day we went shopping of course. The Zara in the Fashion Show mall is bomb. That’s where we spent most of our time, ha. It’s sooo big & nice.
That night we went to the Backstreet Boys concert which was literally my childhood dream come true. SO MANY GOOSEBUMPS! GO. Just do it. You will not regret it. They were legit amazing. Our seats were toward the back and some girl that was waaay too drunk barfed all over so they moved us up to the front section on account of the terrible smell. Guess we lucked out!
Kim left the second day (baby withdrawals & I don’t blame her he’s adorable). But Natalie and I had a packed day!
Sleeping in is amazing. I hadn’t stayed in bed until 10:00am for a looong time but that’s what our Saturday morning looked like. We went shopping (again) & walked all along the strip.
We ate a few different places outside of the hotel. Nowhere I’d go back. BUT we did eat at Black Tap at the Venetian hotel and it was freaking bomb. Seriously, you have to go there the next time you go to Vegas. I would definitely recommend going a tad early or calling before you go because the line to get in can kinda long. No doubt the best food that we ate our entire trip though. I had a crispy chicken sandwich, fries, a side ceasar salad & the cake shake. Everything was delish. Natalie had the grilled chicken sandwich & she got the teriyaki broccoli with the cookies n’ cream shake. I had bites of hers (let’s be real I couldn’t keep my hands off of her teriyaki broccoli) & it was delicious too!
That night after dinner we went to the cocktail club Electra at the Palazzo. It was nice to sit and get away from all of the craziness of the slot machines for a little while. It had a nice ambiance with fun music. None of us are drinkers so we ordered their non-alcoholic drinks and they were super yummy. The strawberry one was my fave! I need to learn how to make them at home fo sho.
The Venetian also had a cold pressed juice shop and a little bakery right by the elevators to get to our room so it was nice to snag breakfast there in the mornings. It made snagging breakfast (which I did in my robe… No shame!) a breeze.
It was all of our first times staying at the Venetian and we all agreed that we’d stay there again.
PS I saved the whole trip to my IG stories so you can check it out if you haven’t yet!
I hope to do another ladies weekend soon!
xoxo,
Karlee
